A book I recently co-authored with my friends Becky Corbin, President of NACCE, and Beth Kerly, a colleague at HCC. This book is all about how to create a more equitable economy through community college entrepreneurship education. Previously we collaborated on another book -- Community Colleges as Incubators of Innovation

I am also passionate about financial capability. I serve as a fellow for Next Gen Personal Finance, a Palo Alto based nonprofit that provides educators with personal finance resources, curriculum and support. I am a proud board of the Florida Prosperity Partnership which helps elevate financial capability for all. I also work closely with Intuit Education and NACCE to develop a financial management
curriculum for everyday entrepreneurs & educators

With a team of colleagues, I am actively engaged in providing military veterans and their family members with open access to entrepreneurship education. Through a unique national partnership with Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), we have become the first community college in the nation to partner with IVMF and co-create high impact entrepreneurship training program called STRIVE.
